Artist In Residence - Sherwood State School

I started running the annual Artist in Residence program at Sherwood State School in 2007. Each year I have the opportunity to work on lots of fun projects with the students, incorporating a wide variety of materials and techniques. This is a selection of some of their amazing work.

"Kim has performed the role of “Artist in Residence” at Sherwood State School for the past seven years. In that time she has guided students across all primary year levels (Prep-Year 7) through an amazing and diverse range of visual arts’ activities, from wire sculpture to mosaics to Indonesian puppet making, to mention only a few. Kim utilises an extensive array of artistic media and styles in her lessons making every activity innovative and exciting for the students.
Kim brings to her role outstanding creativity, skill and flair for the Arts. Many students have been inspired by Kim to continue their artistic pursuits well beyond their primary years into adult life."
